Target Keeper Support
Target Keeper helps you organize recurring tasks, record progress, and review your history. This page covers the current local-tracking version.
Get help
Use the Robert G. Allaire Contact page for Target Keeper support or privacy requests. Identify your message as “Target Keeper support” or “Target Keeper privacy.”
Email targetkeepersupport@gmail.com for app support or privacy inquiries.
For a support request, include your app version, device model, operating-system version, and the steps that led to the problem. Share screenshots only if you choose to, after removing private information. Do not send passwords, verification codes, API keys, financial statements, or private photos.
Tasks and schedules
Use the existing Add Task control to create a task on the selected page. Choose the recurrence and other task settings in its form. Save keeps the new task; Cancel discards the draft.
If a task appears at an unexpected time, check its recurrence, the selected page, pauses, and your device’s date and time zone. Include those details when requesting help. Do not delete and recreate a task as a first troubleshooting step, because its identifier and history matter.
Why do I see six circles?
On iPhone, the usual portrait view shows two columns and three rows; landscape shows three columns and two rows. Scroll to reach additional tasks. Six visible positions are not a limit on stored tasks. Larger accessibility text may need more scrolling. iPad retains its existing layout.
Progress, Undo, and history
Tap a task to record progress. A completed target shows its existing completion indicator. Use Undo for the supported recent progress action. Some historical records remain for accounting and Undo even after a task is changed or removed.
iCloud and moving between devices
Application-controlled iCloud synchronization is not enabled in the current reviewed version. Do not expect tasks to transfer automatically between an iPhone and iPad, or between different app installations. Device backup settings are separate from Target Keeper synchronization.
Missing records or restoring data
Stop making changes if records appear missing. Do not uninstall, reset, downgrade, or attempt an unverified restore. Keep the existing installation and contact support. Recovery and transfer must preserve tasks, identifiers, schedules, history, preferences, photos, and financial records; a new installation is not proof that these records transferred.
Reminders and photos
Reminders are optional and depend on notification permission. Check your device’s notification settings if expected reminders are not shown. Background photos are selected through Apple’s photo picker and stored for use in the app. A selected photo is not evidence that your complete photo library is accessible.
Nutrition, Fitness, and Portfolio
Existing pages support manual tracking. The app does not claim automatic food-calorie inference, HealthKit import, or dietary recommendations. Calorie-entry and transfer features are not represented here as qualified release features. Manual Portfolio prices remain available; live Tiingo requests are disabled while provider and release requirements are resolved. Saving a token does not verify it or enable live prices.
Privacy
