Target Keeper Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

The responsible operator is Robert G. Allaire. Use the Contact page for Target Keeper privacy questions and requests.

Email targetkeepersupport@gmail.com for app support or privacy inquiries.

Records kept in the app

Target Keeper stores task names and identifiers, schedules, notes, page organization, completion history, streaks and statistics, preferences, and user-selected background photos in its local application storage. Manual Nutrition, Fitness, Financial, and Portfolio records may include activity entries, accounts, holdings, transactions, manual prices, and related history.

Local app storage and device backups are different. Your operating system and Apple account backup settings may include app data. This policy does not promise that records are permanently confined to one device.

Accounts and synchronization

Ordinary local tracking does not require a Target Keeper account. Application-controlled production CloudKit synchronization is disabled in the current reviewed configuration. Any future release that enables synchronization requires an updated review of its data flows and this policy.

API tokens and stock data

If you voluntarily save a Portfolio API token, the existing app stores it in the device-local Keychain under its application identity. It is not configured as a synchronizable Keychain item. Live Tiingo token verification and price requests are disabled in this configuration. The app keeps existing manual prices and local Portfolio history, including local request-budget records where present.

A future enabled provider integration would require review of token and symbol transmission, provider retention, local accounting, licensing, and the final privacy disclosures. The current policy does not promise or authorize such an integration.

Optional permissions

The app requests notification permission when you enable optional reminders. It uses Apple’s photo picker for images you select and copies the selected images into local theme storage. The reviewed implementation does not request blanket photo-library, camera, microphone, location, HealthKit, motion, or advertising-tracking permission.

Analytics, advertising, and external services

Target Keeper does not include an advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK in this version. External links open destinations you choose to visit; those services’ privacy practices apply to those visits. This policy describes the app. The author website and email providers have separate data handling for website visits and correspondence.

Support messages

If you contact support, the recipient and the email or form providers handle the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to send. Send only what is needed to explain your request. Do not send credentials or unrelated private records.

Support messages are deleted within 90 days after resolution, except where longer retention is legally or operationally necessary. For questions or deletion requests, email targetkeepersupport@gmail.com.

Keeping, changing, and deleting records

Some local records remain after task edits or removal for accounting, history, and Undo. The current version does not promise immediate permanent erasure of all associated history. Device-local records cannot be assumed to transfer between different app identities. API tokens are tied to the existing app’s Keychain scope.

Use the Contact page to ask about privacy or deletion of support correspondence. Do not uninstall or reset Target Keeper merely to troubleshoot or request help: these actions may affect access to local records. Any recovery, transfer, or data-deletion guidance must account for the current app version, device backups, and preservation safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We will review this policy when collection, synchronization, third-party services, or support handling changes, and update the date shown above when the policy changes.
